About Todd Barton Memorial
Our Mission
The Southern Humboldt community was deeply saddened at the sudden passing of Garberville Volunteer Firefighter Todd Barton. In addition to volunteering for Garberville Fire for over 40 years and responded to thousands of calls.
Todd was a beloved member of our community and volunteered countless hours for the Southern Humboldt Emergency Preparedness Team and the Southern Humboldt Amateur Radio Club, including working closely with the KMUD newsroom, assisting with emergency preparedness planning and training the KMUD team on the use of HAM radio.
The Friends of Garberville Fire Protection District have set up an account at Vocality Credit Union for those wishing to contribute to funeral expenses. Please contribute what you can to the Todd Barton Memorial, Account No. 17202, Saving Suffix 0001. This may be done either by phone through the Vocality Call Center using a debit card; online through a member to member transfer or external transfer; or, in person at 757 Redwood Drive in Garberville.

Welcome to Todd Barton Memorial
A " Celebration of Life " for Chief Todd Barton will be held at the Garberville Fire Station on Sunday February 16th----from 12 -4pm----this will be a potluck (sides and deserts) and the Garberville firefighters will BBQ so bring some good stories and food to share and help celebrate the life of one of Garberville's most consistent volunteers ever...!
